# Our Story — A Monument to the Legends

Penny Lane is a deliberate departure from the velocity of modern Bali — a literal oasis among Canggu's hustle.

## The Architecture

The venue was designed around Roman-inspired limestone arches that tower over the main dining area. Hand-plastered walls finished with a lime-wash technique give the space a timeless, weathered quality. A six-meter glass roof covers the central courtyard, creating a greenhouse effect filled with tropical gardens, bougainvillea canopy, and natural light.

## The Details

Every element was curated to create a narrative-driven space. Hand-made stained glass murals depict rock and rap icons reimagined as angels. Stone mosaic motifs feature designs including the Gucci Tiger and Monkey Magic. Furnishings include teak and travertine tables, colonial antique chandeliers, and ramie fiber drapes.

## The Greenhouse

The central courtyard functions as a greenhouse — a space for touching grass amid birds and butterflies, surrounded by the architecture. It is the heart of Penny Lane and the setting for sunset cocktails, group dinners, and intimate evenings.

## The Aesthetic

Penny Lane bridges street culture and architectural sanctuary. The result is a space that feels like it has existed for decades while remaining unmistakably contemporary. It is designed as a destination where the geometry of the architecture is as considered as the plating of every dish.
